my name is vishesh agarwal i got 1233 rank in jee advance 2019 now i had a confusion as i may not be getting computer sc in any IIT

Hi Vishesh,

Congratulations on your JEE Advanced score. According to previous year counselling results, you may not get CSE in the top IITs. But you may try for CSE in other lower IITs like Patna, Pallakad etc. But it will be better to get another course in the top IITs. You can try for other courses like electricals, mechanical, ECE, etc in IIT Bombay, Madras and other top IITs. Good Luck!!!

With 1233 rank in JEE Advanced you can still get CSE in Some middle or lower rated IITs, like:-

Middle rated:-

IIT Indore/ Gandhinagar/ Mandi/ Ropar/ Goa

Lower-rated:-

IIT Dharwad/ Bhilai/ Jammu/ Palakkad/ Tirupati.
You can take the preference in the given order.
Now for your choice, it would really depend on the branch you are getting in a good college and the college you are getting for a branch.

Also, you should take your interest in consideration, as you are going to spend 4 important years of your life with that subject.

You have got very good rank 1233 rank in JEE advanced. But you know all rankers having first choice computer science engineering. So it's little tough to get seat in this branch. But ther are some other branches like information technology and electronic and communication in which you can easily get seat.
