My percentile 83.99 in genral can I get admission in gov college home state & what is my rank

According to a percentile of 83.99 your rank calculations would be ((100-83.99)/100)*900000=144090.So with this rank it is possible to get an NIT if you belong to HS quota.And according to the previous closing ranks you maynot he getting a good branch in the NIT.For any further clarification you can ask again or just look at the list of closing ranks of JOSAA.Thank You.

Hello, with your percentile your rank would be around 1.5k to 2.5k. You can apply for various government colleges but you have likely very less chances of getting top branches in the government colleges. If you are ok with the lower branches, then you can apply or you can also apply for some good private colleges like Amity, SRM, Manipal , Sharda etc..
