My Percentile in Jee is 87.4 What type of colleges that I can get with this Percentile AND What are the ways to improve my percentile to 98

With 87 percentile, you can get decent branches in lower NITs or private colleges.But since you want to improve your percentile,here are some tips:

• While solving mock tests, always try to analyze the paper first rather than solving.Analyzing means have a look at the questions and try to understand whether the paper is easy or hard or lengthy.
• selection of questions are important.A question might seem easy to solve but might take too long to solve
• always remember, it is better to solve correctly than to solve as many as possible.
• in most cases, try to begin your exam with the subject you are most comfortable with.
• for jee mains, have a thorough knowledge about basic fundamentals, especially in PHYSICS and CHEMISTRY.

With this much Percentile its hard to get any NITs in general category,I suggest you to prepare for the next JEE Mains this year.For increasing your percentile you should go through as many previous year question papers as you can,try to solve them in time limit.since not much time is there i suggest you focus on those lessons which you are intrested in most.for weaker sections go through the previous year question just to  get an idea what kind of questions are  being asked.
