My prep sc rank 825 in jee advanced. What does it mean? ?

The marks allotted to you doesnt mean rank in JEE Advanced. You shall not alloted a rank in JEE Advanced Rank List as this is compketely different from it.
Hence, all vacant seats reserved for SC, ST and PwD candidates, which would not get filled in the counselling shall be allotted to the candidates of respective categories as per protocols.
Preparatory courses mean that for one year you will be prepared and trained in IIT and moreover after one year youll be declared pass or fail which will decide to which you will get a direct admission in any undergraduate course from next academic year as prescribed.
Top 1000 ranks under SC category have high chances of conversion.
