My rank in obc-a is 2717 in wbjeeb but it is not shown in the seat allotment..why is it so??i have registered for both wbjee and jeemain

Sorry to dishearten you. Not possible if you want good branch. The closing rank even for category is given on the
basis of GMR/PMR that is General Merit Rank.So suppose you are a general
candidate, to get CSE in Jadavpur University the closing rank was (GMR
rank 153) in 2017.
But if you are a OBC-NCL category the closing rank required was GMR 784(general merit rank
not your obc rank
)

Studnets shouldn't worey as while counselling your category rank shall be accepted.
Your OBC A category shall fetch you all the college into WBJEE ljke Jadavpur university, Purulia engineering college, institute of engineering and management.
