The question needs to be more specific some of the branches in government college extends beyond 10 k GMR and other branches may be restricted to 3k GMR . A rank of around 5k will assure you a seat in any of the government college with a descent branch.Again you can't predict much cuz many of the seats would be blocked by medical aspirants as NEET counselling takes place after WBJEE counselling.

So getting is not so easy.
