Hi,
With an OBC-NCL rank around 44k, top NITs for Electrical are difficult, but you still have chances in newer/lower-cutoff NITs like National Institute of Technology Puducherry, National Institute of Technology Sikkim, or National Institute of Technology Meghalaya.
If you’re female, the female supernumerary quota can help quite a bit too. And definitely don’t skip CSAB special rounds, many seats open up there at lower cutoffs.
So overall, EE is still possible, especially in newer NITs or with home state advantage.
