My rank is 46485 in general category. I belong to general category and domicile of M.P. and also having defence quota.Where can i get CSE?

Dear Shailendra

I am sorry to say but at this rank of yours, you won't be able to get CSE in any of the NITs or IIITs. Also, JEE Mains has no seperate reservation for defence quota. If your choice of branch is fixed( i.e CSE), you can look up to private institutions. There are several private institutions that also give admission on the basis of JEE Mains' score, and several others have their own entrance examinations.

You can refer to this link to get the list of colleges that enroll students on the basis Mains' score.

If you want to go with other non-CS branches, you have several options.

I hope you get what you desire for. Feel free to ask any other queries.

All the best!!

Hello Shailendra,

Congratulations for the results and hope you're doing well. Being in general category and getting any government college and that also with CSE branch is a tough task but if you are having defence quota then you don't have to worry much. You will get admission in the good government college. You can try for the following colleges

Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and science (SGSITS), Indore

IET-DAVV,Indore

UIT,RGPV Bhopal

Barkhtullah university, Bhopal

Madhav institute of technology and science (MITS), Gwalior.

There are many more colleges where you can try.

In Gsits you may have to compromise with the branch as there you may get IT branch instead of CSE.

Hope this helps.

Further if any queries feel free to.

All the best!!

Regards.
