Since your rank is > 15000, so the possibilities of getting good NIT and IIIT decreases but again you can get NIT through home state quota.

You may get into any of the GFTIs. They are better options than state govt. colleges and easily better than private ones.

Some of the best colleges are listed below that you might get with your rank -

Thapar University, BIT Mesra, BIT Sindri, LNMIIT, Nirma University, JAC Chandigarh ( PEC, UIET, etc), PDPU, UPES, BIT Mesra.

Can you please clearly specify about the name of the exam in which you got this rank. If I assume this to be your jee main rank the you can't get admission into NITs or other government colleges through this rank. You can only get seat in private colleges affiliated to jee mains.
