Hello BK Pal, it's nice that you are planning to join M.Tech in Structural Engineering. To get into a good college, you mainly need to appear for the GATE exam because most of the best institutes like IITs, NITs, and top state universities accept GATE scores for admission. If you are looking at private colleges, some of them also offer direct admissions or conduct their own entrance exams.
Once you have your GATE score or entrance result, you need to go through counselling and document verification . You’ll have to submit your B.Tech certificates, ID proof, photos, and other necessary documents during this process.
