Dear Student,

Polytechnic :-

• Diploma in engineering
• Passed out Polytechnic students are referred to as diploma engineers.
• Syllabus is designed to get students familiar with the practical knowledge of engineering.
• Theory part is largely reduced as compared with degree engineering. Student are exposed to technical details.
• You can join polytechnic after 10th. After completing it, students can get a job in engineering factory.
  
  Intermediate :-
• Intermediate is course for 2 years
• Syllabus is designed to make students grasp more knowledge of applied sciences.
• Technical part is somewhat avoided.
• After completion, students can appear for various entrance exams of engineering, medicine such as JEE, NEET and other entrance exams.
• There is wide opening for students.
• They can choose pure science branches such as B. Sc. i.e Bachelor in science, agriculture, etc.
• After completing graduation, students can appear for various state selection board such as Maharashtra public service commission(MPSC), UPSC etc.

There is wide opening for intermediate students than polytechnic students.
