My session was 2021-24, 8th sem result came in 2024 but 4th sem backlog exam was conducted in 2025, so my degree certificate shows 2025. I mentioned 2024 as completion year in my MNC application. Could this cause an issue during BGV? can this be cause of offer cancellation un Infosys?

Hello Student, a difference between the year you mentioned in your application and the year shown on your degree certificate could be noticed during background verification, especially if the employer verifies your academic records. However, it does not automatically mean that your offer will be cancelled. I would suggest informing the HR/recruitment team proactively and explaining that your regular session was 2021–24, while the backlog examination was completed in 2025 and the degree certificate therefore reflects 2025. Keep your semester results and other academic documents ready to support the explanation.

Actually it is in Infosys when I uploaded documents on launchpad I mailed my recruiter regarding this
But she didn't reply and BGV is on hold I don't know why
She is not replying what should I do now ?
Means I have told her about this through mail but she didn't respond I don't know that she is aware of it or not ??
When there will be any issue regarding this at that time what can I do ?
