This year the JEEMains rank card has been established in terms of percentile. So 25 percentile means that 25%of the test takers have scored below you. To calculate your rank you need to first know total no.of test takers. Then use that to find out.
Example if 1000 students have taken the test. And your percentile 75, which means 75%of the population has scored below you. So 0.75*1000 are the rankers below you. Now subtract this with 1000(the total test takers to have your rank.
