My son has given class XII exam and is interested in social science studies from Delhi? Any entrance exam, eligibility?

It's good that your son is interested in social science studies as it offers a great career as a lecturer, administrator, consultant, etc.

DU offers B.A.(Hons.) in Humanities and social science. The duration of the course is 3 years and the admission to the programme is given on the basis of your performance in an MCQ based entrance test, conducted by the university.

Eligibility conditions for appearing in the test are as follows:-

• General category students must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate in 10+2 level in 4 subjects.
• For OBC & PwD/CW candidates a minimum of 54% and 57% aggregate is required respectively.
• For SC/ST candidates, a minimum pass is sufficient to appear in the test.
