My son having 79% marks in diploma in computer engg. Can he has chance to get admissin for direct second year in our college

As per the prevailing criteria, candidates having 3-year diploma in engineering  are eligible for admission in 2 year of B.Tech/B.E through lateral entry. Admission is however governed by certain other eligiblity conditions like, percentage in diploma, availability of seats in college and age.

Yes, there is a provision of lateral entry in B. Tech for various colleges. If that college offers such seat, he can apply for that.

I believe you are asking about admission in 2nd year B.Tech.If yes,then he can get admission through lateral entry.
