my son is in the 10th Standard now. he is an average student in Science with Biology being strong and maths being average. He wants to make a career in either Data Science or AI / Machine Learning / Robotics. He is confused and so am i. Please advise how to proceed and what are the possible options

Even if his maths is average, he can still learn Data Science or AI slowly with practice. His strong Biology can help him later in fields like medical AI or biotech-related data science.
Right now, he just needs to focus on improving basic maths and logical thinking.
You can let him try simple coding like Python to see if he enjoys it.
By Class 11- 12, he will understand what he likes more and choose according to his interests.
