My son is preparing for JEE, but plays mobile games for 2-3 hours. Still his performance in his coaching is satisfactory. How much time ?
Hi, I understand your concern as a parent. Since this is a crucial time, it feels that playing games is a waste of time. I think that he is releasing the pressure of the JEE preparation. If his performance is fine then I think that he should be allowed a bit of his own time doing what he likes and that may be playing mobile games and maybe the time can be a bit regulated. As for your query, if you are asking me how much time he should put in for JEE preparation, then there is no way to measure this. I think each child is unique and each has his/her own capacity. some need a bit more time and some study faster. so it all depends. What you can do is to talk to his teachers and find out how he is doing. If he is doing fine then you should allow him some leverage and monitor to improve a bit. JEE Preparation period is a tense time. So the kids do need reassurance that they will be fine.
