My son is preparing for NEET. PAssed10th and going to pass 12th in 2020 from Maharashtra and staying & working in Maharastra from last five year. I am from Uttar Pradesh and have a domicile of UP.My query is that whether I will be getting State quota ( 85%) reservation from UP or from Maharashtra.
Ravi, according to UP NEET domicile mentioned at: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/up-mbbs-admission , it says that a Candidate needs to be a resident of UP for not less than 3 years. But if you have domicile of UP, you can claim UP State Quota for NEET counselling. For claiming Maharashtra State domicile, according to the guidelines mentioned in https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/maharashtra-mbbs-admission , you need to be a resident of Maharashtra and have its domicile because domicile certificate is mandatory to claim its State Counselling. So if you have Maharashtra domicile, you can also claim their State Counselling.
