My son passed 12th with 91% this year and he got 54%ile in jee mains and could not appear for WBJEE. Then please let me know, whether he can be admitted to B tech(CSE) or not.

Yes he can take admission in B.Tech Computer Science (CSE) with 91% in 12th and 54 percentile in JEE Main. Although he won't be able to get admission in top NITs & IIITs with this percentile he can do the following:

1. Apply to private universities like VIT, SRM, Amity or Shiv Nadar which conduct their own entrance exams or accept 12th standard (board) results.
2. Look for state level counseling in other states which allow the acceptance of JEE Main scores for admission in private colleges.
