My son secured1751 rank in jee mains 2019 but he is appearing for advance supllimentary exam to clear two papers

Well congratulations to you and your son for acquiring such a great rank. Well there's no problem in appearing for jee advance. If he clears that as well with a good rank like of JEE mains then he will get into an IIT but if he doesn't clear JEE advance , even then his seat in nit is confirmed because of his JEE MAINS rank. There's no loss anyway. The choice is entirely his whether he wants to go for IIT or nit. For getting admitted to nit , his jee mains rank will be considered . For getting into iit, his JEE advance's rank will be considered. You need not to worry about he giving the advance paper.
