My srmjee 2019 rank is 5663 ..should I go for counselling??

You must go! The counseling sessions are still on.
Your rank of about 5.5k can get you CSE at SRM University too! You've great chances for any branch.
If you've confidence of getting into other colleges through other entrance exams, you can skip tge counseling.
