My Wbjee GMR rank 23582. OBC A rank 1180.I am from West Bengal. Can I get any college in CSE branch by councelling?

dear aspirant you can get cse in jalpaiguri government engineering college in the third round or mop up round or decentralised round. you have a very less chance of getting cse in kalyani government engineering college but can get other streams like mechanical , civil and it in kalyani.

Hey there as per your obc category ranking you can apply for the following colleges including government colleges --

1. Maulana abul kalam azad university of technology, kolkata

2. Netaji subhas college of engineering, kolkata

3. Visva - bharati university, west Bengal

4. Heritage institute of Technology,kolkata

5. Haldia institute of Technology, haldia

6.kalyani government engineering college,nadia

7. RCC institute of information technology, kolkata

In above mentioning college you can apply for all branches so that their is probability of you to get good branch.

There is only a slight difference in the home state and other state preferences ,you did not have to care about it if the predictor predicts a college.

You can select your prefernces as you wish and check the list

Please visit this link and check for yourself ,make 2-3 selections among the list of colleges that appear.If you do not have a prefered branch then set the branch to "not sure"similarly for the college location and Use your general rank (not the category rank) to generate the colleges that might let you in.

You dont seem to get a seat in government colleges,so dont let yourself down for that.Kindly go for a private college if the government college is not available which are equally good,and do not wait for a government college and lose your chance .
