NCC'sC certificate benefits in SSB. after graduation
Hello Simran.
For the candidates who aspire to join the defence forces, NCC ‘C’ certificate is a golden opportunity for them to go to SSB directly.
These candidates are exempted from giving the common entrance exam and are called directly for SSB.
NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will have following benefits over non-holders in defence as on 2017:
Hey,
You have not indicated with certificate you pursue in National Cadet Corps(NCC). Cadets who have received a 'C' certificate are not required to take the UPSC CDS examination. However, the cadet must have a 'A' or 'B' grade in his or her 'C' certificate to be eligible for this. In paramilitary forces recruitment, like as BSF, CISF, CRPF, and SSB, the NCC 'C' qualification provides 10–15 additional marks. If you are asking for any other as such benefit of extra marks in SSB, then, no bonus marks is provided. However, it will add some weight in Detailed Application form filled for SSB. You can get benefit only if you have NCC 'C' Certificate as this will exempt you from CDS Examination.
