while preparing for board exams, since the syllabus, 80% comprises NCERT for NEET too, you can allocate 1-2 hours to study for NEET while preparing for board exams. Post board exams, one needs to allocate at least 11-14 hours a day for NEET exam preparation.

Now those who are going to appear NEET just keep in mind that competition is going to be more tough as :
- More no. of candidates will be competing.
- You may not get easiest paper . So start working hard. “No rest till best”
- There would a commotion if NTA will be conducting the exam.
- Appearing Neet in first attempt and getting a medical college along with good marks in boards is bit tough.
Study-> Learn->Practice->Clear doubts->Practice Test->Clear doubts->Revise->NEET
Now how to prepare for that ( if joined coaching classes for NEET preparation):
- Biology
- You have to be very strong in biology among the 3 subjects if you want to secure a seat in medical college. For that you need to read the NCERT books 6–7 times in the remaining 11 months smartly and applying tricks to remember the boring topics and bunches of examples. But never try to mug up the whole books by putting burden and stress on yourself.
- Read your NCERT books 6–7times.
- Read your class notes and use highlighters to mark the exceptions, important lines,facts, catchy examples and so on.
- Make sticky notes about any kind of additional information.
- Try to make self notes for easy and handy reference.
- Solve questions from your modules or any good reference book with limited no.of questions. ( Don't buy books with numerous no. of questions , they just eat up your time).
- Solve previous years questions.
- Try to speed up your hand while solving mcqs and solve 90 questions within 40–45 minutes. Along with that practice omr filling.
- Read your modules and highlight the important parts only.
2. Chemistry
- Try to understand the concepts of Physical chemistry and remember the formulas. Solve questions and practice more from modules, previous years questions.
- For inorganic first you need to understand, write down the reaction equations, structures,also the orders of different physical properties of every family of periodic table etc. Read NCERT books time to time and make short notes for easy reference. Solve questions from NCERT books, modules and previous years questions.
- For Organic (most important) , make your concepts and understanding strong . Refer your NCERT books, class notes, refer your modules, any other source for expanding knowledge out of NCERT syllabus ( must). Solve more n more questions. Revise many times.
3. Physics
- For this you need be Crystal clear with your concepts and basics before you go through problems.
- Go through a topic and solve questions on that particular topic. This habit will surely help you to overcome the fear of physics.
- Refer your class notes and solve as many no.of variety of questions from your modules, 1–2 reference books and previous years papers.
- Work hard and give more time on your weaker topics. Solve more but don't compel yourself to study if you find that topic hard. Try to understand it from your teachers.
- If you get time go through your NCERT books ( examples, highlighted points, summary, points to ponder,and blue boxes).
- Give tests as many possible to enhance your frequency, efficiency and confidence.
Key points :
- Give as many All India Tests ( Aakash or Allen) if possible.
- Assess your development.
- Mark the important questions of every test.
- Practise omr bubbling and time management within 3 hours. Give more time for Physics.( Rank deciding factor)
- Boost your confidence and have discussion with friends and teachers.
- Avoid social media.
- For 12th students focus on your board as well.
