If you intend to get a seat via the All India 15% quota, your rank has to be below 4k.
However, if you contest via the 85% state quota of your native state, you might get a seat at AIR 6k as well, but again it depends on a lot of factors and also some luck.
The gist is, under any circumstances, try getting a rank below 5k.

Hi I am afraid you won't be able to get government college with this rank as you come under general category. Good luck next time.

Dear Deep,
It will be very difficult for a General Category student with the rank range you mentioned to secure a seat in good medical colleges in West Bengal.

You can get a government seat in your state but even that would be difficult with this rank. Try to score better.
