Exam Dates:

Application Opens (Tentative): First week of December 2024
Last Date to Apply (Regular Fee): First week of January 2025
Last Date to Apply (Late Fee): Second week of January 2025
Exam Dates (Written): First week of February 2025
Result Declaration (Written): March 2025
Situation Test/PI: March-April 2025
Final Results: May 2025
Counseling & Seat Allotment: May-June 2025 (onwards)
Exam Pattern:
GAT and CAT are two papers.
GAT: Computer-based, will be compulsory for all the courses
CAT: Offline-based, will be compulsory for B.Des and M.Des courses only

National Forensic Science University conduct the National Forensic Admission Test ( NFAT) for admission to various programs. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must have passed undergraduate course with a minimum of 55% marks. The online application form for NFAT exam will be available by the February 2025. The NIFT 2025 written exams will be administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) during the first week of February 2025. The GAT and CAT are the two papers that will be on the test. While the CAT paper will be offline, the GAT will be a computer-based test.
