Hi, Prospects are good. Footwear designers get appointed by designers, buyers, MI, assistant managers and managers in different Areas of production and marketing. You can even choose free lancing. At a start you can have less package say upto 10K per month but in good companies you can get upto 20K per month in the start. NIFT is a premier institute and you shall go further in this course if you have interest for the same. Good Luck.

Yes they are. There are many fields in the designing field. Once you do a course, you will learn various streams, then later you will have to choose which specialization you are interested in.
