NIT college ask for the cast validity?

Greetings aspirant,
In order to take admission in NITs, provided you cleared the JEE Mains cut-off and is under the closing rank for that college, you will be required to present your caste certificate issued by central government. Your caste name must be listed under the category held by central government. Then only, you will be considered eligible for admission in that particular NIT under that category. Good luck.
