1) National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli
- The National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli commenced its establishment in the academic year of 1964 . There are three schools in which the campus of NIT Calicut is divided namely School of Biotechnology, School of Management Studies, and School of Material Science and Engineering.
6) Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur
- The establishment of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur took place in the academic year of 1960. The sprawling campus of the institute is spread over an area of 225 acres in the western part of Nagpur city providing all the basic necessities to its students.
7) National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra
- The National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra commenced its establishment with the help of the Central Government in consultation with the Planning Commission in the year 1963 . It was declared as the Institute of National Importance in the academic year of 2008. This was one of the seventeen colleges to be established in the country. The institute admits nearly 900 students to its 9 undergraduate programs and more than 200 students to its 4 postgraduate programs . 9) National Institute of Technology Durgapur
