Kerala NMMS is a state level exam under the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme.

Here are some key details :

• Students studying in Class 8 from government, aided or local schools can apply.

• Annual family income should be less than Rs.3.5 lakh.

• Students must score at least 55% in Class 8 (50% for SC/ST).

• The exam has two papers: MAT and SAT, each with 90 questions.

• No negative marking.

• Minimum 40% marks needed in each paper (32% for SC/ST).

• Selected students get Rs. 12,000 per year till Class 12.
