NMMS exam has two papers:

MAT (Mental Ability Test) – Questions are on reasoning, puzzles, series, coding-decoding, patterns, etc.

SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) – Questions are from subjects like Science, Social Science, Mathematics studied in school (Class 7 & 8 level).
So, you will get reasoning type questions in MAT and subject-based questions in SAT.
