The NMMS (National Means–cum–Merit Scholarship) exam is conducted for Class 8 students studying in government or government-aided schools. It aims to provide financial support to deserving students. The exam has two parts – the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

The MAT section checks reasoning and analytical skills, while the SAT section includes questions from Science, Social Science, and Mathematics of Classes 7 and 8. Each paper has 90 multiple-choice questions, and students get 90 minutes for each paper. There is no negative marking in the exam.

Students should use a blue or black pen and carefully fill the OMR sheet as per the instructions given in the question paper.
