I’m really sorry you’re feeling like this. It’s okay to feel lost sometimes, but giving up doesn’t mean you’ve failed. Many people struggle before finding their path, it doesn’t mean you’re not capable. Take a short break, talk to someone you trust (a friend, teacher, or counselor), and don’t make big decisions while you’re feeling low. You still have time to figure things out.
Hi Suzan
I’m really sorry you’re feeling this way.
It’s completely okay to feel lost or doubtful at times, especially when things don’t seem to work out or when family support is missing.
Please remember that this phase doesn’t define your future or your potential. Many people question their choices during their studies, and it’s perfectly normal to feel uncertain about being a lawyer right now.
Take a step back and try to understand what exactly feels wrong. Is it the pressure, the subject, or the lack of support? Sometimes, our path becomes clearer when we focus on small steps instead of the whole journey.
Even if law doesn’t feel right at the moment, it doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It simply means you’re discovering yourself better. Stay patient with yourself, seek mentors or peers who can guide you, and keep in mind that your current feelings don’t determine where you’ll end up, things do get better with time and clarity.
I hope you have a good day!
