Presently, you have two chances to appear for JEE Advanced : one in the year of your passing 12th and the other in the next year, provided you satisfy all other eligibility criteria. These eligibility criteria are subject to revision every year, so make sure you go through the Information Brochure properly, once it is released. Also check the eligibility criteria mentioned in the JoSAA Business Rules if you wish to appear next year.

A candidate is allowed to take the JEE Advanved entrance exam a maximum of two times in consecutive years.

A national-level exam, JEE Advanced from this year is being conducted in online mode. The exam conducting body has already released 3 mock tests so far to help candidates familiarize themselves with the functionalties of the exam.
