Hi Suresh,
Look according to CAT syllabus, it's similar with many government service exams syllabus but in case of Bank sector, it's slight different. If you are serious of IBPS, then you have to add on many more thing. With the CAT preparation, if your preparation at a level then you can crack CAT as well as IBPS prelims exams but when it comes to MAINS, it's quite different. There will be more subjects related to financial, accounting etc, related subjects that you have to prepare for mains. & also you can't do two things at a time, yes syllabus is almost same but strategy is not same. So do a single task at a time that you can perform well in the perticular exam.
