now the seats are increaseed then what would be the minimum score to get the government collage

Dear Manish, the cut off scores might change but the cut off formula remains the same. For being qualified in NEET, a Candidate belonging to General Category should score a minimum of 50 percentile of the top NEET score. It is 40 percentile for OBC,SC,ST. Now the marks needed will be decided by the top NEET score. Cut offs vary every year and depend on various factors like no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Now, the Health Ministry has announced that by 2020, there will be approximately 75 new Medical Colleges across India. Which means approximately 7500 MBBS seats will be added. Then we have 1500 seats from AIIMS and 200 from JIPMER added. But on an average every year 13 lakhs of students appear for NEET. So the ratio of no.of candidates qualified and no.of seats available is always going to be odd. SO more or less, the marks required to secure a seat in a GMC will remain 50 marks different from the last year's cut off. Hello Manish, No one can predict anything about the cutoff scores of the government colleges at this stage where the exam has not even been conducted. Yes it is true that the number of seats have increased but it doesn't mean that the cutoff will decrease because maybe the paper would be easy and many students will score high marks which would result in high cutoff or maybe the number of applicants can rise. So, it is not possible to predict anything at this stage.
