For a rank of particularly 4 to 5 lakh in fields like Engineering or Medicine government colleges have generally have lower fees structure compared to private institutions. MBBS fees in government colleges can range upto Rs 8000 to 35000 per year but in Engineering fees at institutions like IITs and DTU can range from Rs 5.32 lakh to 8.66 lakh for entire course.
