On getting RT in Biology in class 12 results , is a student allowed to write NEET the following year?
Hello candidate,
I'm sorry to inform you, but you are not eligible for the Neet examination with RT. i.e. repeating a theory in biology indicates you failed the theory.
This is because:-
According to the Neet qualifying standards, you must have completed 12th grade with Biology. However, you failed biology theory, and when you fail theory, you fail in that subject, i.e., you failed biology, and therefore failed to meet the requirements for passing biology in order to be eligible for neet. As a result, you are ineligible for the neet test since you must have passed both the theoretical and practical exams separately to be qualified.
The following are the Neet eligibility requirements: -
According to the Neet 2021 eligibility criteria, you must either be taking the 12th board exam in 2021 or have passed the 12th board exam with PCB (pass in both theory and practical separately) and English, and you must have:-
If you are in the general category, you must have a minimum of 50% in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology) in your 12th test.
If you are a st/Obc/ Sc, you must have at least 40% PCB in your total.
To be qualified, pwd applicants must have a PCB score of at least 45 percent
Also,
* To be eligible for neet 2021, you must be 17 years old or older by December 31, 2021.
* For Neet 2021, there is no higher age limit.
* The maximum number of attempts/times one may appear in NEET is unlimited.
