The bacteria are divided into two types - Archaebacteria and Bacteria on the basis of rRNA .
The Archaean ribosomal RNA (rRNA) is similar to ribosomal RNA of eukaryotes and the Archaean cell walls contains no peptidoglycan.
Whereas the bacterial cell wall is made up of peptidoglycan and resembles to ribosomal RNA of prokaryotes.
Hope it helps :)

Hi student,
On the basis of rRNA genes, bacteria are divided into 2, Bacteria and Archaebacteria as the archaebacterial rRNA are closer to that of eukaryotes than to that of bacteria.
