In All India Quota Counseling if you haven't been allotted a seat after the First round of Counseling, then you can participate in the next round (2nd) of Counseling.

------ Now for 2nd round of All India Quota Counseling, you will have to freshly fill the choices of Medical or Dental Colleges as per your preference. The choice filling you did for 1st round of Counseling will be treated null and void for 2nd round and hence it is important that you exercise the choice filling again for the 2nd round of Counseling.

------- The seats that are alloted are done completely on the basis of merit, and also your preference is taken into consideration.

------ So if you don't make it through the cut off for a college despite it being at higher preference during your choice filling , you won't be allotted the college.
