Nishant after cracking the GATE entrance exam you have the wide range of opportunities to enter into the various private companies and the Government Organisations as well depending upon the marks you scored you will be able to fetch the that much amount of benefits. Since you are from the Core branch belonging from the Mechanical domain then yaah in your case you will have the wide range of opening across all the big companies like Maharatna, Miniratna and Navratna .

You will get lot of opportunities for opting higher studies by doing m tech in top IIT or NIT or with a good rank below 500 preferbly for general category student surely get a call from almost all PSU.Cracking gate is not important but cracking gate with good score is very important.ALL THE BEST.
