Passing Criteria :-
General Candidate must secure at least 40% Marks in Paper I & Paper II and must secure at least 50% Marks in Paper III.
OBC candidate must secure at least 35% Marks in Paper I & Paper II and must secure at least 45% Marks in Paper III.
SC/ST and PWD candidate must secure at least 35% Marks in Paper I & Paper II and must secure at least 40%% Marks in Paper III.

For Qualifying SET test for Symbiosis Engineering, one must meet following criteria:-
The seats reserved for SC category is 15%, for ST is 7.5%, and for different abled Students is 3%.
- Should have passed class 12 exams with Minimum 45% marks with Physics and mathematics as mandatory subjects alongwith on eof vocational subjects like Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biology.
- A good score in SET is must or shoukd have decent score in Jee main or MHTCET.
- For SC and ST category, Minimum of only 40% marks is necessary.
The seats reserved for SC category is 15%, for ST is 7.5%, and for different abled Students is 3%.
