Hello,
U are not eligible for Jipmer entrance exam if u have an aggregate less than 60%.
Your form will not be selected.
As u r appearing for an improvement exam , u may select "appearing" in your cls 12 status.
If u get more than 60 % aggregate in your improvement exam , u will be eligible for the entrance exam.
Hello!
The JIPMER MBBS application form requires all candidates to enter their PCB percentage in Class 12. As per the JIPMER MBBS eligibility criteria, all unreserved candidates are required to secure a minimum of 60% marks in PCB to be eligible for MBBS admissions in JIPMER. Now the form will be determining whether you are eligible for the exam or not. Hence, even though you may have passed your Class 12 in all subjects last year, you will not be eligible since you have mentioned your overall PCB percentage is less than 60%.
What you should do in this case, given that you are appearing for your improvement exam this year, is to select your Class 12 Status as ‘Appearing’. Under ‘Month and Year of Passing’, select the month in which your improvement exam is and ‘2018’. Just ensure that you clear your improvement exam with the required percentage before the JIPMER MBBS counselling process starts tentatively in June 2018.
Hope this clears your doubt. All the best!
no. u will be appearing or second attempt candidate.
