Percentile in jee mains is 96. 5 if i dont do good in advance test can i get a good college..which college may b applied as i m medium class

With 96.5 you could easily get admission in NITs or IIITs however you might not get the top branches like CSE or ECE as their cutoffs are bit higher than others but you can easily get seat in other core subjects. As you said you're from a middle class background so I would suggest NITs would be best for you as they have comparetively lower fees than private engineering institutes.

You can also get branches like ECE, ME, CIVIL in VIT with VIT rank. But VIT would be costly as compared to NITs and also the chances of placement and opportunities are more in NITs.
