PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) is a diploma degree which is issued by AICTE recognized institutions in a 2 year full time programme.
PGPM (Post Graduate Programmme in Management) is not a degree course but a certification course. The diuration of this course is typically 1-2 year and does not possess any recommendation as it is generally offered by colleges without affialiations.
PGDM i.e. post Graduate Diploma in Management is a diploma programme which is approved by All India Council for Technical Education recognized institutions. B-schools offering PGDM course are autonomous bodies with industry-oriented curriculum and aim to provide more practical knowledge.
Whereas, PGPM i.e. Post Graduate Programme in Management is award programme, not a degree . It is a typical one-two years programme depending upon the institute that offers it.
Remember none can replace an MBA degree . Rest the choice is your's.
