Post Graduate Institute Of Medical, Education & Research (PGIMER) is a medical and research institution in Chandigarh. It is ranked 2nd among medical colleges in India in 2019 by the NIRF for 2019. Government Medical College and Hospital is a medical school and a tertiary care hospital located in Chandigarh. It is ranked 15 for Medical by India Today for 2019.
Both the institutes are really good and ranked top in India. The only difference is that pgimer does not offer mbbs, it only offers post graduate degrees but gmch offers both undergraduate and post graduate degrees.
