3% seats are reserved on horizontal basis for Physically Handicapped candidates (only for locomotor disabilities of lower limbs between 50% to 70%, provided that in case any seat in this 3% quota remains unfilled on account of unavailability of candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% then any such unfilled seat in this 3% quota shall be filled up by persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50% before they are included in the seats of respective category) in 15% All India UG quota seat.

Candidates who considered themselves eligible for this category are advised to ensure their eligibility by getting themselves examined at any Government Medical College/District Hospital/Government Hospital.
However, candidates may kindly note that in case of selection under PH category, they will be required to produce Disability Certificate from one of the disability assessment boards, constituted at the four metro cities, mentioned below, before their schedule date of counselling:

Second, there is relaxation in the eligibility criteria as well, the cut off aggregate of HSC examination is lesser.
Third, there are reserved seats in nearly every college for such students.
Fourth, there is relaxation in the college fees as well.

Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates ko NEET, AIIMS aur JIPMER medical entrance exams mein kai alag tarah ke benefits milte hai.
NEET
- General Category ke liye application fees Rs. 1500 hai par PH candidate ke liye Application fees Rs. 750 rahegi
- Eligibility ke roop mein jaha General Category candidates ko Class 12 mein Physics, Chemistry aur Biology ko milaakar 50% marks laane padenge NEET ke liye qualify hone ke liye, waha PH candidates ko 45% marks ki hi zaroorat hai.
- NEET ke 15% All India Quota seats mein General, SC, ST aur OBC categories ke andar PH candidates ke liye 3% reservation hai.
- PH candidates bhi 2 types ke hote hai. Pehle un candidates ko reservation di jayegi jinki locomotor disability of lower limbs 50% to 70% ke beech ho (PH 1 category). Iske baad, un candidates ko consider kiya jayega jinki locomotor disability of lower limbs between 40% se 50% ke beech hai (PH 2 category).
AIIMS
- No application fees.
- 700 seats mein se 3% seats PH candidates ke liye reserved
JIPMER
- No application fees
- 200 seats mein se 6 seats PH candidates ke liye reserved
Yes, there is a 3% reservation out of the 15% All India Quota seats of Government medical and dental institutes of the country. Before counselling, candidates will have to produce a disability certificate from one of the disability assessment boards mentioned below:
