please clear my doubt clearly, is any separate batch for lateral entry and general entry of college. let's assume, 50 seats of btech but if students enter in the college through lateral entry then no. of students inceesed in second year?

No there are not separate batches for lateral entry , they get direct entry in the 2nd year of the course in the existing batch , there's no separate batch for them.
For example, if a class had 50 students in the first year and then 20 students get in, through lateral entry then number of students in the same class becomes 70 in the second year.
