please help me out ?? actually i want to do journalism in electronic media . i m very confused about the thing that when will i get the option of choosing specific stream in journalism such as radio jockey,print media,pr, presenter??

Journalism is growing field and has a lot of prospective opportunities for those who want to pursue it. Since, you are interested in this field, it becomes very important to know what a basic course of journalism comprises of. The basic work of the job is to spread awareness and information regarding the ongoing situation of the world. So basically, your course will deal with the fundamentals of the same and various laws and psychological aspects, which will again vary from college to college. These courses will equip you for skill-based writing in the field of media and other aspects. It will give you an overall insight about photography, print media, graphics, radio journalism, advertising, public relations and so on. Since you are doing it in electronic media, your course will be more focused on the new practices in the fields.
Now in this course, in B.A., there are no specialisations in these. So you are studying all these subjects so that you can decide where you want to move forward. There are many career options for those who want to do BJMC or Bachelors in Journalism and Media Communication. Each option has a different path as well.
So after the course you will have a general idea of all the options.
Now let's say you want to become a radio jockey. Your understanding in media is definitely going to aid it. So you can directly apply for an internship or job after your graduation and your selection will depend on the requirement of the company and your voice.
If you want to get into print media, a similar procedure will happen but other skills will be assessed, like writing skills, communication skills, investigative skills etc. depending on the type of job you apply for. For being content writer, they will probably ask you about your work experience, see your previous works or give you a new writing task and select on the basis of that.
So as far as the course of journalism is concerned, it will cover all these topics in electronic media and you will have the idea of all the fields and what happens there. But there are no specific colleges training with B.A. journalism. If you wish to specialise, there are many diploma courses which can help you to acquire knowledge but graduation is an important eligibility criteria in almost all jobs and if you have one in journalism, it is going to help you to move forward effortlessly in this field.
