Please tell if not staying in college hostel could make MBA from a good B school difficult as discussion, combined studies etc wouldn't be possible.

I can understand your concern towards the studies, yes, in hostel you can discuss and combine study. But it all depends on how strict your College hostel is and what is your mindset. So, think twice and there is no harm if you be outside. Even there is no problem being in the college hostel. It all just depends on you and only you.
